About

Thanksgiving in July began as a humble “holiday” in 2006, with 12 friends and friends-of-friends gathered around a makeshift dining room table to feast on a traditional Thanksgiving meal in the middle of July. It has since expanded to a grandiose and extravagant celebration embracing the very essence of the capricious magic that a spectacular dinner party can hold. Brimming with ebullience, the holiday tends to inspire outbursts of generosity, over-the-topness, and all-around good cheer. (How’s that for a one-paragraph summary?)
